The Bliss Family (Extended Version)

Here is a picture that we took of the entire Bliss Family when we were at Smith Mountain Lake.

Boys will be Boys!!

I let Cooper play on the porch for a few minutes and he found some sidewalk chalk and had it all over his face, hands and legs. Needless to say, he needed to get clean before I let him back in the house. He stood still long enough for Scott to take these pictures. You've got to love him!

Caroline Swimming

Caroline had a great time at Libby and Shane's pool this weekend. She really made progress with her swimming this weekend.

Smith Mountain Lake

We went to Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia last weekend to get together with Scott's entire family. Yes, lots of drinking and swearing! It was great seeing all of the cousins playing together. Caroline thought she was cool hanging out with the big girls.

Caroline actually rode on "Big Mabel" with Shannon. The only rule is that she couldn't cry if she got bumped off. She kept her word, but really, really wanted to cry!















I believe it is totally impossible to take pictures of more than two kids at once, especially dealing with these crazy kids. We tried taking pictures of all of the Bliss cousins. That was a nightmare. Good thing I had a few drinks and had more patience!
















Cooper got a kick out of feeding the ducks!















Caroline was playing hide and seek with the bigger kids. The older kids were great with the younger ones and buddied up with them while they played. Below is when Caroline and Kendall were counting. I don't know why, but Caroline's pudgy hands make me laugh!

What's up with Caroline?

Caroline had her pictures taken from her dance class a while back. I snapped some pictures after we got back, but she was not at all interested. I think she had enough of being cute for one day. Why do I laugh so much at her expense? That must be my sister coming out in me! :)

Caroline & Elise

Caroline's friend, Elise, came over today. They had a great time and enjoyed seeing each other again. Elise went to Caroline's old school, so they don't see each other as often as they used to. Nonetheless, they had a great time playing dress and having a tea party.... at the same time!

Lemonade! Get your Cold Lemonade!

Caroline had so much fun today. She was so excited that she actually had some customers. Scott sat with her most of the day and said people that passed in their cars would stop and get a glass from her. In the pictures below, you can see how proud she is of her earnings.

Happy Birthday America!

We had a great Fourth of July! We had some friends over and let the kids run wild in the yard. Here are some pictures of Caroline and her friend, Jake. Caroline said in her typical teenager voice, "Mommy, I'm dying to have a Lemonade Stand". She is such a drama queen!

A little too much Hair Gel?

Last night, I was trying to get Cooper's hair to stand up a little in the front instead of laying flat to his head, so I put some hair gel in his hair before he went to bed. Looks like I need to use a little less next time! The sad thing is that I sent him to school this morning looking like that! He is going to hate me when he gets older! You gotta love that face though!
