Happy Birthday Sweet Caroline!

Caroline turned the big "7" on Sunday! I can't believe my baby girl is 7. Am I really that old?? Don't answer that. ..

The day started out with breakfast in bed. She requested eggs, toast and ice cream. I skipped the ice cream and hoped that she didn't ask again.
Complete with a birthday candle!
Gram & Grand-Bob came over after church and they took Caroline out to her restaurant of choice. She chose Cracker Barrell. Thank goodness she doesn't know that Chucky Cheese serves food!
Later that night, we celebrated again and had some yummy Carvel Ice Cream cake!

This is what happens when you skip naptime!

Cooper is in that in-between stage where he can skip his nap if the day is busy. However, once things slow down, someone can't make it through the day without a little siesta! On two different days, Cooper tuckered out before dinner.

Play Ball!

Cooper started his 1st season of T-Ball this month! He has definitely liked this sport more than soccer. Scott volunteered to be the coach for his team this year and has been really great with the kids!

Caroline - The Athlete!

Caroline has been a busy girl! Their school had a fundraiser Fun Run at school. She was very proud of herself! Thank you to Gram & Grandbob for contributing to her fundraiser! She got a t-shirt, which is very exciting for Caroline. That girls LOVES a t-shirt!

Then, last weekend, Caroline participated in the Lillie's Friends 5k. This race was in honor of a local little 3 year old that died of a rare childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma. It was a great way to honor their daughter. They also had a Chase the Hare race, Egg Hunt and many other games and crafts.

Caroline was gung-ho at the start of the race but tuckered out after mile 1. She managed to walk/jog the rest of the way. I was soo proud of her! She was particularly excited that her name and results were posted on the internet. You can see her results here.

Caroline thought the water stop was the end of the race. Boy, was she sorely mistaken!
