Although I think this happened by complete accident, Cooper pooped in the potty! Of course, we made a big deal out of it and gave him lots of encouragement.

Proud Cooper!
Cooper is making strides at school with potty training. He has now peed in the potty twice (just a little) and comes to tell me on his own that he needs to go. We are very proud of him! As you can see by this picture, he is very proud of himself in his big-boy Thomas underwear!
He is far from being totally potty trained, but maybe him wearing these big-boy underwear will encourage him a little more.

Our Week in Pictures
There isn't much going on here this week. Caroline had a high fever this morning, so Scott and I split the day up from work to stay home with her. Cooper is a little feverish, but we are hoping that he isn't next. Ugh.
Scott is going to Realfoot Lake, TN on his annual duck hunting trip with the guys on Thursday. (It is supposed to snow and ice over on Thursday, so they might not be going anywhere!) That would be a long, slow trip to Western TN!
Here are some pics from this past week:

Daddy and Cooper playing with a train book that Amy & Scooter gave him. (Thanks, Amy! He really liked it!)

Caroline feeding her Baby Alive.

After the baby cried a few times, Caroline informed me that the baby would be sleeping with me that night. Thank goodness this baby has an On/Off button!

Cooper and his yogurt face

A Day at the Train Expo
Pat-Pat emailed me earlier this week telling me about a commercial she saw about a Train Expo coming to Winston this weekend. TheTrain Expo is an annual visit from model train vendors and just plain-crazy train enthusiasts. After doing my research, I decided this would be a great trip for us to take. Fortunately, Caroline's friend, Elise, called and invited her to come play for the day. So, while Daddy went duck hunting, Cooper and I hit the Train Expo this morning.
He liked to watch the other kids, but he wasn't interested in riding the trains.
Ahh! He hit the motherload! What is he going to hit up Mommy for first?
I was scared for him to touch the real trains
Such a cute smile!
Of course they had a few train tables.
Right after I took this picture, he got through the plexy-glass and derailed the train. Very embarrassing Mommy moment! Do I have one of THOSE kids???
More train play
And he's OUT! I have three hours to recover.

Sweet Caroline
Goodnight, Sleep Tight
Ahhhhh, Silence! What a beautiful thing!
I just put the kids down without a huge production and even had time to read them a book or two. Wow, today is my lucky day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We welcomed the new year with our friends, Brian and Gina. I think we had a good time? We brought the kids dressed in their PJ's thinking that we would put them to bed when they got cranky. They all played good together and rang in the New Year with us at midnight. (I know, we are bad parents.)
