HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween night started out kind of rough. Cooper came home from school extra crabby. Scott and I were starting to think one of us would have to stay home while Caroline went trick or treating....

Then, he saw his Thomas costume. He wasn't crazy about putting the hat on, but ended up wearing it the whole time. Choo! Choo!

Next, Caroline put her JASMINE outfit on and struck a few poses.

All Aboard the Candy Express!!

Cooper quickly learned the words that opened the gates to candyland! Trick or Treat! (He even used his manners to say "Thank you"!)

Go Panthers! Or something like that?

We went to the Carolina Panthers game today with Brooke and Michael. Although the Panthers got creamed by the Colts, we still managed to have a good time. At least the first 11 minutes of the game were good!

Although it was not planned, we were able to catch our niece, Peyton, at the half-time show! She is the dot with black hair in the crook of the 1. (Good thing Scott brought our binoculars!)

After fighting the I-85 traffic, we made it home just in time to get the kids all riled up to go to bed. They had a great time with Pop and Pat-Pat. We enjoyed the break!

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere!

Caroline got a little bit carried away with the bubbles tonight. She had the jets on a little too long and created a mound of bubbles!

Caroline's New Haircut

Caroline got another haircut today! Yeah, we love it!

She looks so much older with an actual hairstyle. So older, that she asked me today if she could call me "Mom" instead of "Mommy".... I don't think so!

Sick Day

Cooper and I are sick. I started getting a bad cold yesterday and then when I picked Cooper up from school he started having a fever. I took him straight to the doctor and (SURPRISE!) he has another ear infection. Tubes, here we come!

Scott couldn't resist taking a picture of Cooper this morning when he crawled up on my lap. Don't worry, Mommy will make it all better!

Family Reunion

We went to Aiken, SC for our family reunion today. It was great seeing all of the my family that I don't get to see very often. This reunion was extra special. It is Granny's 80th Birthday next week! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANNY!!!

Happy Birthday Lana!

Sunday, Oct. 7th is my sister, Lana's, Birthday. I believe she has quit telling her age, so you can do the math on that. I have a few old pictures of Lana when we were younger. I know I have more pictures of her, but I can't place them right now. (Apparently, all of the spring cleaning at our house has made me put many things in a "too" safe place that even I can't find them.)

Yeah! Duck Hunting Season is Finally Here!

Scott woke up bright and early this morning and went duck hunting. Looks more like goose hunting to me!

Saturday Trip to Target

I don't know when I will learn to NOT take the kids shopping with me. I can't concentrate and usually forget to buy half of the stuff that I had on my list. I needed to buy some Pull-Ups for Cooper at Target. His teachers say that he is actually using the potty! I really don't believe it yet since I have not seen him in action. This would be too good to be true! Looks like Scott will be on potty patrol!

After letting Caroline dress herself while I dressed Cooper, this is the outfit Caroline decided to wear. She was not happy about me taking a picture of her. Notice the placement of the hairbow, the cheap gold necklace, the cell phone, Hello Kitty purse and her good dress shoes. She must get her style from her father!

On Friday, October 5th, two special men I know are celebrating their birthdays! Just wanted to give a "shout-out" to my father-in-law, Bob (aka Grandbob), and my brother-in-law, Stan the Man.

My friend at work, Meredith, gave Cooper a Toys R' Us flyer that she got in the mail advertising all of the Thomas the Train stuff on sale. Boy, he has been glued to it all week! Santa won't have a hard time figuring out what he will want this Christmas.
