I had a sweet tooth at the grocery store today, so Caroline and I decided to make brownies!

Fall Fun!
Our local YMCA had a Family Fun Day this morning. They had lots of local vendors, a petting zoo, bounce houses, hot dogs, ice cream and lots of games. The kids had a great time and wore us out!
Cooper kept coming back to the duck. Great!
Coming down sideways on the slide.
He never let go of those darn trains

More Swim Lessons
Caroline had another swim lesson this evening. She is now treading water and swimming (a little) without floaties! She has really come a long way with her new instructor, Mr. Marty. (Caroline calls him Mr. Smarty.)
Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car. Good thing Pop brought his trusty camera! Check out his blog later for some of his pictures.

Well Check Appointments
We took Caroline and Cooper for their 4 and 2 year well checks this morning. Caroline did so great with all of the tests and also was a trooper with her shots. I am so proud of her!! She knew going in that she would be having shots and she didn't whine about it beforehand. (I still break out into a cold sweat when I know I will get my finger pricked!) Scott hugged her afterwards and then she wiped her tears away quickly when she got a boatload of stickers at the front desk.
Cooper was ill as a hornet most of the time. We now know why though. He had a raging ear infection! We had a feeling that he was getting one even though he didn't have a fever. The poor guy has bad allergies and can't keep his nose from running. We are going to try one more allergy medicine before we take him to an allergist. Let's hope this one works!

Tea Party
Caroline made Cooper participate in her tea party today. Cooper was such a trooper. Good thing he is a sucker for apple juice!
Like the cape?
Georgia Aquarium Pictures
We had to use the old-timey 35M Camera when we went to the Georgia Aquarium the other weekend. Here are some more of the pictures from that trip.
A Varsity Picture for Gram & Grand-Bob. The Bliss Family all-time favorite!

Cooper was so excited!

Happy Birthday Jake!
Our friends, Gina and Brian, had their son, Jake's, birthday party at "Bounce-U". This place had two rooms full of different inflatable jumping houses that had slides and obstacles courses, etc. Caroline and Cooper had a blast. Scott and I even bounced and slid in some of them. Boy, were they tired!!

Jake and Caroline

Cooper loves him some cake!
(That is the only way we got him out of the bounce houses.)

Nice, sexy black socks, Scott!

Cooper sliding down. He is fearless!

Go Georgia Bulldawgs!
UGA and South Carolina played last night, so I figured I would show Caroline how to cheer for the Dawgs. Needless to say, Caroline had her own rendition.

Grandparent's Day
Caroline and Cooper's school invited their grandparents to come eat lunch with them. Thank you Gram for driving to Winston to eat lunch with Caroline! I am sure Caroline will forget about not getting ice cream by the time I pick her up!

Labor Day Road Trip!
We hopped in the car this past weekend and went to visit our good friends in Georgia. Mary had a baby shower this weekend, so we decided to all come down and make a mini-vacation out of it!
Caroline's "Flip-Jack"

Daddy & Caroline horsing around

I couldn't take it anymore! We got Caroline's mop cut. (Much Better!)

Cooper had to get in the action. Such a cute smile!

Mary and Sally, are both pregnant! Mary is due in October and Sally is due in January.
Picture time with the Taco Mac gang!

Don't know what I would do without these guys!

The Wissing Sisters and Momma Wissing
Sorry! No drinky, drinky for you!!!

Later on, we went to Mary's parents house for food, fun and games with her rather large family. They are truly a great family with the biggest hearts! Thanks for the hospitality! Seriously, has that door ever been locked???
Caroline and her new friend, Megan

After we left, Caroline talked about all of her new "cousins".
