The kids found something new in the house that they could ruin! Daddy's favorite chair! While they were playing on it, the chair fell backwards. They occupied themselves for a good while.

Amber Alert

We almost thought we were going to have to issue an Amber Alert on Caroline. Her supper wasn't ready yet, so I thought she went upstairs to play. When her supper was ready, I called and went upstairs after she didn't answer. No Caroline. I started panicing a little bit because it is not like her to not answer or play hide-and-seek with us. Scott was grilling outside, so I got him involved when I could not find her by myself.

We combed the house and checked all of the beds. We finally found her right under our nose sleeping like a rock under the throw pillows on the couch. She was out and never heard us call for her. It was comical once our hearts stop beating out of our chest.

Quality Crib Time

All was too quiet upstairs (for a little while) after I put in a video for the kids to watch. Scott and I started hearing alot of banging upstairs. I go up to Cooper's room to find both kids in Cooper's crib. Cooper was having a ball jumping with Big Sis in the crib with them. Caroline tried to play it cool like she wasn't doing anything wrong.

Monday is Scott's ??th Birthday! WE LOVE YOU!! Thanks for being such a great father, friend and husband!

Daddy's Birthday

Caroline and I baked cupcakes for Scott's upcoming birthday on Monday. After dinner, we surprised Daddy wearing birthday hats and carrying a flaming birthday cupcake.

Easter Parade

Today, Caroline and Cooper's school had their annual Easter Parade. All of the K-8 kids, teachers and parents gather to watch the 4 & 5 year olds parade around the building in their Easter's finest.

She was so proud of her dress and gloves!


Cooper and I got to watch Caroline. He couldn't figure out what I was doing at school in the middle of the day. He wasn't a happy camper when I went back to work!

Cooper Update

To all of those who are interested, Cooper pooped in the potty today! Yeah! This was the best Welcome Home gift EVER!

Road trip to Pompano Beach

When we got off of the ship on Monday morning, we had about 10 hours before our flight left for Greensboro. Luckily for us, we managed to rent a car and head up to Pompano Beach for the day and hang out with Amy, Mary, Marc and baby Anthony. Mary and Marc were visiting Amy and Javier for the long weekend, so it worked out great to see them while we were in the area. Here are some new pictures of Anthony. It was great seeing you guys! Anthony is getting so big!

Cruising!

Scott won us a cruise to the Bahamas for all of his hard sales work! We went along with 10 other couples from his company on the trip and had an absolute blast! (My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard.) This was a much needed vacation for the two of us! We came home with alot of great memories!

Caroline got a surprise package in the mail the other day from the Lehmans Family! She was really excited to wear her present - a Hannah Montana shirt! Thank you again! She loves it and is so proud of it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!

Our nephew, Austin, turned the Big 16 yesterday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN! Each year that he gets older reminds me how much older I am getting! The day he was born, I got the news of his birth while I was sitting in Mrs. Nichols English class my senior year in high school. Boy, time sure does fly! Love ya, Austin!

Sorry guys, my picture taking has slowed down a little bit. Whatever Cooper had last week finally infested our house. Scott has another sinus infection and Caroline and I are coming down with something. I took this picture tonight while the kids were having fun.

Cooper and his Smiley Faces

It all started at school. Everytime Cooper used the potty, his teacher gave him a smiley face. He loved getting them and they seemed to help his progress. I started giving them to him after each successful trip. Now, Caroline has taken over my duties and gets more and more artistic with every face.
