Dinner with Pop & Pat-Pat

Pop & Pat-Pat came up to meet us tonight for dinner! Thanks for making the drive!
Caroline and I just love butt jokes!
Here comes trouble!

Funny Boy

When I was taking the kids to school this morning, I looked back and couldn't resist taking a picture of Cooper. He is wearing Caroline's sunglasses upside-down with the remnants of this morning's Pop-Tart on his face. You gotta love him!

Bliss Blog Survey Time!

It is a well-known fact that I am not good at making decisions. From what restaurant we go to, to what I want to eat for dinner. When out to eat, I usually ask the waitress' opinion. I just feel like it never hurts to ask someone's elses opinion. Today, blog friends and family, it is your turn to help me.

We are in the process of having our house repainted. They are almost finished on the front, except for the front door. We decided on white trim with a dark charcoal for the shutters.

PLEASE, PLEASE vote on the poll on the right of this page and let me know what color we should paint the door.

Fore!!!

Caroline has been practicing with Scott hitting the golf ball. She actually hits the ball pretty well - better than I can do!

Kiddie Olympics 2008

Each summer, the kid's preschool holds their own "Kiddie Olympics" for the 4 year old classes. This year was a lot of fun! The kids designed their own team shirt and wore it today. I am so proud of Caroline and will miss her classmates dearly when she moves onto kindergarten.

Scott was putting the kids to bed and was giving Cooper a horsey-ride to his room. From that, Cooper decided to become a circus performer and stand on Scott's back. He is definitely our dare-devil!
And, of course, when one of them gets attention, the other one has to follow...

Parenting has it's priviledges!

Finally! A Positive Side to being a Parent!

Meet our new housekeeper: Madam Caroline!

I have been crazy busy at work and to put it mildly - my housekeeping duties have been less than adequate.

Then I came up with a plan...everytime we go to the pool, Caroline starts begging to get snacks from the snack machine. So, I told her if she wanted snacks at the pool, she would have to earn them. Not thinking that she would take me up on it, she wantedto help me clean the house this afternoon. Luckily for me, she called my bluff and dusted AND brought all of the clean clothes up for her and Cooper and put them in the drawers. I am so proud!

Scott's change jar may get pretty low this summer! Ahh, this is nice!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

We surprised Daddy with Breakfast in Bed this morning for Father's Day. (Caroline isn't great with keeping a surprise, so I think it wasn't much of a surprise for Daddy!)

Cooper made Scott a coffee mug with his handprint on it. You can tell by the look on Cooper's face, that he was very proud of himself.

Caroline made Scott a beautiful hat for Father's Day.

Then, they got Daddy an I-pod for his big present. Caroline was excited because she gets to have his old MP3 player.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, SCOTT! Thank you for all that you do!

Happy Father's Day Grand-Bob!

Can you guess what Grand-Bob is getting for Father's Day?

Having fun at the Mall

We woke up Sunday morning on a mission to price dishwashers. Somehow, we ended up at the mall eating lunch and taking a joy ride on the carousel. On our way through the mall, we stopped in one of those photo booths and took some pictures. These pictures are priceless!

Summertime Fun

We have had record temperatures this week in NC! This morning at 8:30, it was already 88 degrees! What better way to cool off then going to the neighborhood pool.

Graduation Party

One of Caroline's classmates had a Graduation Party. They had a blast! I didn't think we would ever be able to tear her away!

Congrats Caroline!

Caroline's Preschool Graduation was held on Friday night. We were so thankful that all of the grandparents were able to attend. It was a special night for all of us!

First Assembly Preschool and the teachers really outdid themselves. The graduates put on about a two hour program filled with songs with sign language, memorized bible verses and poems and hilarious skits. I couldn't believe Caroline never spilled the beans on what all they were doing.

Caroline's class performed an updated urban version of "Amazing Grace". It was definitely the highlight of the night. Our shy little girl wasn't so shy after all! I am hoping the have the video on the blog soon.

Our Little Graduate

Caroline's Preschool Graduation is this Friday. It's hard to believe my baby will be in kindergarten in the fall! We are so proud of her!

Airplane Ride

When I was a kid, we played this game that we called "Airplane". The kids love playing it. I definitely got my exercise lifting these guys up in the air 100 times.
