Two weeks ago, we welcomed a new family member! Meet "Larry".
You might notice that he has a close resemblance to our old beloved cat, Smudge. This was completely by accident but it has really been nice having a little Smudge in the house again!
Funny story: We adopted Larry from our local vet. When we brought him home, we lost him in the house for a day and couldn't find him anywhere. Scott and I searched EVERYWHERE! We were worried that he got out of the house somehow.
So, fast forward to his second night. We still couldn't find him. After giving Cooper a bath, I sent Cooper to his room to get dressed into his pajamas. All of a sudden, Cooper let out a blood-curdling scream. I knew right then that he accidentally found Larry. You see, Larry had been hiding in his dresser drawer. When Cooper opened up the drawer, a little gray paw came out and met Cooper's hand. Cooper was scared. To. Death!
I am happy to announce that Cooper and Larry are getting long beautifully now!
In order for us to keep tabs on him for the first week, I put Smudge's old collar on so we could hear him. I guess since we finally named him we can get ol' Larry his own tag.
