Gymnastics Time!

Caroline is growing up before our eyes the past few months. Especially since she started kindergarten, she has really matured and grown up so much. We started gymnastics last week and she is really enjoying it. We aren't looking for the next Olympian - just some more coordination and a little less clutz. (Poor thing gets it from her mother.)

I could eat her up!

Cooper gets a Haircut

It was another exhausting trip to the barber shop. Cooper has issues with getting his haircut - to say the least. (Other mothers have told me that they grow out of them, but I am still not so sure.) Anyways, after Scott holding him on his lap as if he was in a straight-jacket and me securing his head still, we were able to get his haircut. Thank goodness for a very patient barber and the promise of M&M's!

Cooper looks like a different boy now. After observing him all day, he now more resembles someone else we know. What do you think??

Cooper Loves "Reading"

The new Toys R Us flyer came out and Cooper was all over it.

Letting kids be kids

Most everyone who reads my blog or (knows us) knows that Cooper just doesn't like to wear clothes. Today was no exception! Cooper had a good time riding his bike in our driveway with just his Thomas underwear. Thank goodness our driveway slopes down so no one from the road could see him! Ahhh, to be a kid again!

This kid cracks me up!

On my nightly routine of making the sure the kids were sleeping and in their beds, I came upon Cooper snoozing like this. He wasn't wearing a hat when I put him to bed? Does he have to sleep with a train on his shoulder and a truck in the bed?You never know what you will find when he is falls asleep. Little boys!

Da Panthers beat Da Bears

We went to the Carolina Panthers and Da Bears game on Sunday. We were fortunate enough to get a last minute babysitter for the kids. We had a great time tailgating with our friends, Brian and Gina. It was a purrfect day for a football game it was actually an exciting game! The Panthers even won! An extra bonus!

Morganton Historic Festival

On Friday, we headed over to Morganton for the weekend to visit our family and friends. The Historic Morganton Festival was this weekend. As always, we had fun seeing old friends, checking out the vendors and, of course, eating. Brooke, Michael and the boys came down on Friday night to join us.

After the festival, we decided to have an impromptu belated birthday party for Cooper at Gram & Grand-Bob's house. (Gram and Grand-Bob were in Europe in August and weren't able to celebrate Cooper's birthday with us.) Cooper didn't complain. He was excited to get presents and eat cake!
