My little boy is growing up!

I know that Cooper is learning alot at school because of his increasing vocabulary and his counting and recognizing some letters. He is definitely a very active boy and doesn't sit around practicing his handwriting like Caroline did at his age. Although I should, I don't practice alot with him at home showing him out to write and color. He does that all day at school, so I let him mostly play at home.

So yesterday, Caroline and Cooper were in the car with me. I was zoning out in space thinking about all of the things that I needed to do and heard C-O-O-P-E-R. I thought it was Caroline talking at first, but it was Cooper spelling his name all by his little cute self!

This morning, I told his teacher that I was very impressed that he could spell his name - thinking that they have been working on it in class. Mrs. Christina said that she heard him say it on his own the other day when he saw his name on his pencil box.

I know it may sound small, but I am very proud of my little guy! Oh yeah, to top it off, he got his hair cut yesterday (with clipppers) and he didn't cry at all!

Cooper: Love your new haircut and Gram and Gran Bob are so proud that you can spell your name. Soon you will be able to write it also. Will see you Sunday.

Love, Gram
