We had a doozie of a storm last night. There were tornado warnings all night long. It was the strangest storm. The sky flashed all night long, but you never heard any thunder or lightening. The wind howled off and on. We ended up waking the kids up and taking them downstairs just in case. (Luckily for us, they slept through it.) We were the fortunate ones - just 1/2 of one of our top-heavy pear trees. A few houses in our area were completely demolished. It's pretty scary when you think about it.

Love your shoes Caroline. Glad they fit. Gram
Leigh: I watched the weather off and on and thought that the storm was going north of Advance but I guess your area caught it too. They showed a picture of Morganton and called it a storm wall that could lead to a tornado and apparently it did go into a funnel but not right in Morganton but somewhere up around Lenoir according to Channel 3. See you Saturday. Judy
